Meet the nomads.
We are proud to be the highest integrity, least bullshit consultants you'll encounter.
What is Nomad8
Nomad8 is a home for consultants. We share our knowledge, resources and experiences. We help each other, learn from each other, have each other’s backs. We are each other’s ‘other’ family – the one we get to choose.
We like to think our model is pretty unique, a tightly-wound organization of like-minded, passionate people working together for the collective good of the business and the people we work with.
Team
Paulius Tuzikas
Paulius heads up Nomad8 Lithuania. After a few years soaking up Kiwi culture, he's returned home to bring Product Management and Agile coaching to the businesses of Europe. He is passionate about personal development and is a co-author of the personal growth framework for Agile Coaches. He is constantly inventing and improving tools and techniques to help teams improve, experiment and work towards delivering value continuously.
Gavin Coughlan
Gavin is the ultimate Agile Coach. He's been in, alongside and in charge of many teams. This grounding in practice has led to a love of helping people to build the right thing at the right time, whilst feeling purposeful and fulfilled along the way. His coaching and training style is engaging and full of laughter and learning. Working with organisations this way is what gets him up in the morning, well, along with buying records.
David Mole
David is a master facilitator, trainer and presenter. He coaches leadership and exec teams through organisational change. He creates resilient, high-performing teams that are able to respond to change and create value. He’s the co-author of “Creating Great Teams – How Self-Selection Lets People Excel”. He brings a fresh and fun approach to his work and he loves running (half-marathons) and football.
Sandy Mamoli
Sandy is one of NZ's leading Agile coaches, a force of positive energy, and former Olympic athlete. She works with leaders and teams, guiding them towards high performance with an approach that is hands-on, no-nonsense and steeped in Agile. She’s the co-author of “Creating Great Teams – How Self-Selection Lets People Excel”. Sandy is a sought after presenter and international keynote speaker and a member of the Global Agile Alliance Board. She is a high-achieving, goal-driven, smart human who is also, perhaps unsurprisingly, really into CrossFit.
Brenda Leeuwenberg
Brenda is the ultimate multi-purpose team player at Nomad8. She brings extensive skills and experience with coaching, training, strategy development, problem solving and making-shit-happen to any new challenge. A digital strategist with a media and agency background, Brenda has taken time out to be Head of Digital and Innovation at NZ On Air, she then created the National Strategy for Financial Capability for the Retirement Commission, and Digital Strategy for Māori Television. She keeps the Nomad8 machine humming as well.
Anthony Boobier
Anthony is a master of tactful navigation when it comes to the ups and downs of corporate contexts. He can coach reluctant Agile appointees into a smoothly functioning dream team with his calm, pragmatic approach. He is a certified trainer of Lean Agile Procurement practices. Ant shares his enthusiasm and knowledge as a coach, facilitator and trainer with organisations and teams in Wellington.
Tony O'Halloran
Tony is a genius coach and facilitator who's not afraid to address dysfunction and call out bad practices. His development background gives him an edge with tech teams, and he's a natural bridge between business and tech. Tony is renown for leading teams to greatness with infectious humour and positivity. He's also renown for being a totally fearless mountainbiker.
Future nomads
If you are an experienced consultant, want to work in a manager-less organisation with full autonomy and are passionate about agile, and are not a tosser, we'd love to hear from you.
