Agile Foundations
Explore the big ideas at the heart of Agile, learn how to manage work efficiently as part of an Agile team and walk away with an ICAgile Professional Certification.
If you’re looking for training that will give you the basics of Agile, there are two course options.
Firstly, the ICAgile Foundations course which fulfils the foundation learning objectives of the International Consortium for Agile and will provide you with an official ‘Certified ICAgile Professional’ certificate, or alternatively a one day bootcamp-style introduction to everything you need to understand.
ICAgile Foundations
You’ll discover the fundamental ideas behind Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban and learn how to apply them. Develop good working habits that make your team more efficient and productive, and get the background knowledge you need to work more effectively with Agile teams.
You’ll learn through hands-on exercises, practical activities, discussion and presentations—and during the workshop we’ll help you find ways to apply what you’re learning to your everyday work life.
This course is certified by ICAgile and is usually run in-house for up to 15 people, by two highly experienced ICAgile certified trainers who are amongst New Zealand’s most experienced.

- Describe roles in Scrum

- Use an Agile project inception process
- Create and manage a product backlog

Agile in a Day
This fast-paced, interactive one day course is particularly useful for people in functions outside of software development - such as marketing, management, exec and board, legal or finance. You’ll learn through hands-on exercises, practical activities, presentations and facilitated discussion.
By the end of the day you will understand the Agile mindset and how it relates to the values and principles. You’ll have a basic understanding of Scrum and Kanban and their processes and roles, and you’ll be familiar with the language and terminology of Agile.
You’ll be ready to talk Agile - and if you want more then you’ll know what to ask for.
