ICAgile Foundations (Online, Interactive)

Mon, Jun 17, 2024 — Mon, Jun 24, 2024 · 8:45am - 1:00pm

This 3 half-day highly interactive remote course will reflect the big ideas at the heart of Agile and teach you how to manage work efficiently as part of an Agile team.

Dates: 17, 19, 24 June from 8.45am - 1pm each day.

If you or anyone on your team is new to agile or comes from a place where they just followed the motions and never got an explanation about the why, our Foundations is the perfect fit.

By the end of the course you will understand the Agile mindset and how it relates to the values and principles. You’ll have a basic understanding of Scrum and Kanban and their processes and roles, and you’ll be familiar with the language and terminology of Agile. You will also learn and experience an Agile project inception process, create and manage a product backlog, understand the fundamentals of Agile estimation and planning, and find out how to apply these tools to your own work situation.

You’ll learn through hands-on exercises, practical activities, discussion and presentations—and during the workshop we’ll help you find ways to apply what you’re learning to your everyday work life.

This course is certified by ICAgile and is run by two highly experienced ICAgile certified trainers who are amongst New Zealand’s most experienced.
